#transformationtuesday - Living room edition

Today I posted a living room picture of our new house (purchased 2 months ago today!). It's almost done, but it was fun to share where we are so far!

Still to do:
Need bench for under window
Need Ikea shoe cabinet to replace current shoe rack
New coffee table & end table
Replace light in the left corner to a lamp on the new end table
Figure out artwork/pictures for the left of TV

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I love the blue as well!!

    I recently re-arranged all of the furniture in my living room. All I bought was a single piece of art, just rearranged everything else and it looks like a totally different space. My bestie who is an interior designer did most of the work which is why it looks amazing.

    Afterwards I was kicking myself for not having taken a "before" photo.

    Oh and I like the curtains a lot, too! Softens that part of the room up a lot.
