    I don't do T-Bell, but we ARE having our rehearsal dinner catered with Mexican food to sate my FI's obsession with foods you can wrap in tortillas.

    IMO you are not missing anything special.
    That's what I think when I see people get Taco Bell at the food court. It just doesn't look appetizing to me. Judging by the way everyone is talking, maybe it's better in the US than in Canada.
    Eh. Probably not, actually. It's not GREAT food, really. I really think their true secret is lacing their meat with something addictive. I liken a sudden desire for Taco Bell to a minor nic fit - I don't get them often because I usually satiate that "need" frequently enough to avoid it, but when I do get in such a tizzy, it's got to be sated pretty quick.

    You guys. I totally wanted Taco Bell after reading this thread, but then H (who must have been reading my mind) messaged me and said, "I've eaten out three times this week. Can we eat at home tonight?"

    Cookie, I'm in PA tonight! Gah!  I was planning to go there tomorrow though. @pinkcow13? Thoughts?  If anybody else is in the NYC area and wants the best taco you've ever eaten...

    ETA this will be my once-a-week cheat day on my diet so I WILL be going nuts. No shame. My other option is a big plate of pasta and maybe garlic bread. Yum.

    The Taco Bell here in Quebec really sucks and for some reason it's always partnered with the KFC. I have a soft spot for McNuggets though...shhhhhhh

    I'm cracking up at all these TB posts. I really don't think it's real food either but I love it. I'm with a PP who said they lace their stuff with something to make it addictive. It's nothing of quality but it sure does hit the spot for some reason. They hit it on the mark with that '4th meal' campaign. 

    JCbride2015, I am dying for a great Mexican restaurant. Where is it exactly if you don't mind me asking?

    @littlepeachblossom Taqueria Downtown in Jersey City.  It's sort of a hole in the wall with 80s-themed decorations and looks a little weird from outside. The tacos are to die for.
