Your Best Halloween Costume!

In college we were contestants on Legends of the Hidden Temple. That was fun (and pretty cheap). Last year we went as Cosmo and Wanda from The Fairly Odd Parents. We haven't decided on a costume for this year - we were actually thinking Wesley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride, @peaseblossom55

Last year I was Daria, and the year before that I was the 11th Doctor. H and I did a halloween party a few years ago where I was a flapper and he was a 20's gangster. We also dressed up as Holo and Lawrence from Spice and Wolf for Otakon last year. I've worn my 11th doctor outfit to the last two Otakons as well.

I'm going to be out of the country for Halloween this year, so no costume.

DH and I did Jessie and Buzz from Toy Story (my costumes tend to be school friendly, so I can use them at work too). It was right after the third movie came out, and DH spoke in Spanish all night

Piñata costume. My outfit was made of bubble wrap with paper mâché over it. (The costume was so hot, that's why it's lowered here). I had a whiffle bat with me. If you hit me, I had to throw out candy ,.. But the bubble wrap absorbed the blows. Lol

Hmm,

I think some of my better costumes were as Wayne and Garth, or the year H and I were ventriloquist dummies.

I did a fallen angel one once that looked pretty good.

And H and I have gotten good at doing zombie makeup since we've done a couple of Zombie Pride Parades.

I love that you're just shopping in Best Buy dressed as a pinata. I think seeing people dressed up in random places is one of the best parts of halloween.

We are lame and have only dressed up for Halloween as a couple once! I was a slutty army nurse, and FI was my wounded vet. He just wore all camo and I wrapped gauze around his head and covered it in fake blood.

A couple years ago, I got leopard print footie pajamas and cat ears and dressed as a leopard when I was doing field experience in pre-shool. The kids got a kick out of it.

We like to watch scary movies and eat all pass out the candy.

The costume that FI and I got the most compliments on was when we dressed up as the Blues Brothers. Black suits, hats, ties and sunglasses, marker 'tattoos' on your knuckles and you're good to go! Super easy, plus FI is tall and skinny and I am much shorter and less skinny, so it made it even more perfect.

I've tried for two years to get FI to be zombie Barbie and Ken with me, because he's tall and muscular with short hair, and I'm tall with long blonde hair (not skinny with big boobs, oh well). Plus, zombies. But he won't bite. (HAHA see what I did there?! But seriously.)

One year my costume was "invisible" - made by wrapping myself entirely in saran wrap. My friends had lots of fun unravelling it at the end of the night.

One year I dressed up as a shower (Karate kid). I had a friend solder copper wire around a camping backpack, and attached a shower head. I taped blue-green tinsel from the shower head.. i hung a clear shower curtain from the copper wire. I hung hot and cold nozzles from a long necklace and wore a faucet around my waist. I won $500 at the Halloween Costume Contest, that year.

It all went to my massage therapist, though, as the costume weighed 50 lbs.

One of my most favorite costumes was a sock monkey because it was huge footie pajamas. So cozy.

Last year H (FI then) and I went as Sam Shukusky and Suzy Bishop from Moonrise Kingdom.
