YAY Wednesday! 

Boo to these mosquito bites on my back being super itchy this morning.  

I swear the kiddo gets in more trouble for running his mouth than he ever will for the things he actually does.  I wish he'd learn sooner than later.  ::le sigh:: 

DH has been able to take DefConn to the sitter the last couple days and sleeping in has been glorious.

    8AM ET is too damn early for a conference call. The only work I can get done at that time is drinking my first cuppa joe.

    I'm on another cleaning spree.  It's time to do the girls' rooms and see what toys are too young for them anymore.

    DH's birthday is Friday and I don't have a gift for him.  I have been so caught up planning our anniversary trip and getting gifts for that, that I didn't really think of the birthday.

    Random:  I caught the last quarter of "Steel Magnolias" last night and cried my eyes out.  I should have just sailed past it, but I can't.  I love that movie more than my luggage.  ;)

    I love that it's Wednesday already.

    But I washed my pumping bra thingy last night and forgot to put it in my pump bag this morning, so I'm typing with one finger while I hold my pump apparatus with the other.  Five more weeks and I'm shutting off the tap.  Not that I'm counting or anything.

    @Heffalump - i used to just wedge the pump into my regular bra, and that worked pretty well. (I also prefer demi-cups, so I'm not sure how well it would work if you prefer full coverage.) it's nice to have the countdown.

    We finally got contracts and have them about 99% completed for a job that will be a better part of the next 2 years.  And I got asked to be the dedicated Project Manager onsite.  I mean, I do most of the paperwork here and apparently saying I was "Paper Manager" during a meeting led them to ask me to be onsite.  *Inhale*

    I'm so excited and terrified and I am trying to be open to change---but I'm not good with change.  VERBAL DIARRHEA.

    heffa, I have an extra 'simple wishes' hold up bra thing--I tossed it into the garage-sale/donations bin yesterday...do you want it?  If you do, let me know and I'll toss it in the mail

    I am still jetlagged.  I offered the Mr. a million dollars to let me sleep in today.  didn't work.
    I just finished callign someone's references and was *THIS CLOSE* to calling him w/ a job offer when my boss called me to say *ARGH, stop the presses, MY boss said this person has a red flag"
    So I'm still short about 3 employees.

    Also, why the hell can't people read signs?

    I keep having people come running in all in a tizzy that their class is cancelled, why didn't they know?  then I walk them back to the door where their class is meeting and see 3 pieces of paper hanging up that essentially say
    "Math for Monday/Wed @ 8am meets here".  
    "Math for Tues/Thurs at 8am is cancelled" and
    "Math for tues/thurs at 2pm is cancelled"

    Apparently they look for the word cancelled and assume that that means EVERY class that ever ever ever met in that room is cancelled, for all times previous and hereafter, amen.

    I'm sitting at my desk, glad it's already Wednesday and enjoying the scent of a dozen roses my DH sent yesterday.  Mmmmm.

    I spoke with someone from my old school and I'm so glad I'm not there.

    SITB, but that is really kind, thank you.  I just got my head together and pulled it out of the dryer last night, so I should be all set.  But thank you, just the same.

    I sent YSIL my pump - I'm not using it, and she had gotten rid of hers after kid #2. 
    (#3 was a total surprise to them - they needed fertility treatments for their first two kids, and were told that they wouldn't have more without medical intervention. They weren't planning on more than 2, so were fine with that.)
