When we got the photos back from our wedding there were several of a girl in white and her boyfriend. I didn't know who they were, and neither did my husband. I thought it was strange that we had so many pictures of this stranger in white.
This weekend, we were at my MIL's house with a few aunts and cousins. We brought the disk of photos and were going through them. When we got to the couple I asked who they were. MIL said that he was someone's son- I think one of her friends- and that was his guest. She wasn't invited, he just brought her. One of DH's cousins was at the table with them. She said, "OMG them!" And went on to tell us all about how she demanded to be the center of attention (hence wearing white to two strangers' wedding) and kept making out with her boyfriend at the table in front of everyone. She also apparently kept asking the photographer to take their photo.
No one knows what her name is, or if she's still with the guy or anything. I know it is super immature of me to even be posting this, but I was just floored this weekend to find out that someone I didn't know, who wasn't even invited to my wedding, showed up and tried to upstage everyone.
The end
Re: The tale of the girl in white
I posted about this else where on here but a girl wore white to my wedding and posted a selfie the next day. Her social media friends reamed her about wearing white to a wedding. It was kind of funny but mostly embarrassing. Some of my friends joked they were trying to figure out how to "accidentally" spill on her. I though that was a bit much but they were drunk and it didn't happen.
Moral of the story: the bride may not notice or care but really, why make yourself that girl?
I'm the fuck out.
Months pass by and we get the video back. Mom & Dad watched the video with me & DH. Mom pointed at the screen and said "see? There was a random dude in biker gear at your wedding!"
DH said "oh yeah, that's Uncle Mark."
Apparently Uncle Mark was out back smoking while we did table visits, so I never met him.
I'm the fuck out.
I'm relieved that I won't need to sleep with the TV and all the lights on tonight
Ha! I was actually thinking of you and your damn haunted venue when I posted that
You're creeping into sleeping with the lights on territory
