Oh, so your guests get to buy their own booze and then give you free money?
Please read what sarahbear posted above. And what I did. In fact, just please read around here to get some ideas. The etiquette thread is particularly helpful.
Listen, if all your going to do is judge then don't comment. I came to this site for advice, not for MY wedding ideas to be shot down. All I asked for are song ideas and help with invitations.

My favorite song at the strip club is Benny Beniases "Cinema". I also like Puff Daddys "Mo Money Mo Problems" it has a great old school feel to it.
Yeah, I'm suspicious when someone's username is Princess and they start a bunch of threads as soon as they join TK, especially when they are controversial topics.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
Im starting threads and asking questions because obviously im a first time bride. Sorry didn't know you were the thread police, had no idea it was a crime to ask questions about my wedding!

Serious question. Is this something that a lot of people in your family have done? Or is it something you heard about or saw on pinterest?
Edit: not that it matters. Just curious.
If others in your family have done this, then I must assume you are Polish/Eastern Europe because that is their tradition. You should use polka music. If this is NOT the case, then you shouldn't be doing the dollar dance at all.
I come from an Eastern European family that does the Dollar Dance (we didn't). There is never a "themed" song for it, it's just whatever the DJ feels like playing.
I'm already not fond of the tradition (though I do participate) but I feel like a themed song would push me over the edge.

As soon as you invite guests, it ceases to be YOUR wedding.

I'm not saying my wedding as in the guests don't matter. I'm saying it like im not getting anything but negative feedback from people who already had their wedding or will be or whatever the case might be.
Re: Money dance songs?
Is this the "dollar dance" where your guests pay a dollar (or more) to dance with the bride & groom?

What songs have they used?
Why don't you ask them what songs they used? Or just dance with your guests without asking for money.
Money (That's What I Want)
