Maple sugar candy favors

Hey everyone, my wedding is in a few weeks (yay!) and I was trying to finalize my favors. I'm definitely doing an edible favor, and I was leaning towards maple sugar candies, the kind that come shaped like leaves or people. I love these but I just wanted to see how other people feel about them. As background, our wedding is pretty small (35 people) at an apple orchard in New England.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. It sounds like it will be very beautiful and especially sweet thanks to those lovely favors. I think they're a perfect idea for a fall wedding! Anything edible is usually a big "yes" for me. (Except maybe black licorice.)

Love the idea!! We wanted to do that (we live in Ohio) but the cost for how many we needed didn't fit into our budget. We had even looked into doing it ourselves, but then learned, it's a lot of work. If I were a guest at your wedding, I would be excited to get Maple Sugar Candy.

I am actually doing mini bottles of maple syrup from a local company. Candies were my second choice!

We did maple cashew brittle and it was AWESOME so your idea sounds good to me! We got it from a real sugar house that's owned by the MIL of one of my coworkers. We didn't end up having any leftover at the end of the night.
