XP - Paying/Tipping Makeup Artist

A friend of mine who is getting married had a question regarding paying/tipping the makeup artist. Essentially, the MUA is traveling to the hotel for a set fee. My friend's question is if she should tip on top of what the MUA is charging her or if the fee she is paying covers that. She is paying in cash.

I would think yes a tip is required as well, but I wanted other's opinions. TIA

I would tip as if I was tipping my hair/MUA normally. Have her wait until she is done and then tip accordingly. I will probably tip about 20%. Then again, I know and love the work that my MUA has done in the past so I have a rough idea of what I will tip.

Yes, she should tip her. Same as you do with a hair stylist or nail tech. They are providing a personal serve, so a tip is customary and expected. Unless the contract stated that gratuity is included - which would shock me since she is coming to your location, this usually only applies to non-tipping resorts.

I tipped my hair/makeup person so yes obviously she should tip her.
