My DH always gives me post-sex chocolate. It is an excellent thing but I have no idea where it started. Does your SO have any weird but endearing habits?

He will brush my hair after I wash it. He also likes me to lay and sleep on the couch next to him when he stays up and plays video games.

Fi and I have a thing with gummy bears. Our first-ever conversation was about how Haribo Gold Bears are far superior to all other gummy bears. So as a sweet gesture, he randomly buys me Gold Bears when he's out and happens to see them.

He also has a "quirk" of being really clumsy. Today he managed to spill coffee on himself literally from belly button to ankles. Good thing there's a Macy's next to his work because he had to take his break early to buy all new clothes! Sometimes when he breaks things I get annoyed, but mostly I find this sort of adorable.

We also fist bump a lot. It's probably annoying to other people. We send each other fist Emojis sometimes, too.

DH says "achievement unlocked" and high fives me whenever we do something new or really exciting. I go to bed super early and he always tucks me in like a wife burrito then complains there are no blankets for him when he comes to bed.

Fi chews on my hair and will eat literally anything that I've had my mouth on, even if it's partly chewed. He's been known to steal my gum. Once we ran out of toothbrushes at the same time, and he let me use the one new one we had first then he used it. I went and got a new one after that. He is literally never grossed out by my period, my sweat, my poop or spit or anything like that. It makes me feel really comfortable with him and it's like no matter how gross I am, he will not care.

FI loooves having his back scratched. When I start scratching he stops whatever he's doing and slumps over and groans. It's like an automatic OFF switch haha it's cute and I don't mind doing it

Fi will always come open the car door for me and we always eskimo kiss over the car door.

Eskimo kissing in general is a big quirk for us.

I had a have strain that always falls in my face that FI loves because he gets to brush it out of my face.

I know you guys have mentioned on here that sitting side by side at restaurants is weird which we do all the time.

DH talks in his sleep, starting in Spanish, then moving to French and finally English. Most of the time it doesn't make sense, but I can have conversations with him. He never remembers though, even when he swears he's awake and tells me to stop laughing at him. Last time, he kept saying he had to put the bunny to bed.

We also make little chirping noises (pucker the lips and pull them apart with a little pop sound) when one of us wants a kiss.

FI is very into the back scratches. I started doing it because he's constantly too warm to cuddle with in the summer, and also is rarely in the cuddles mood anyway, so scratching his back was a way to show affection without cooking him to a crisp. I am 75% convinced he had never had a back scratching before I started doing it.

He also has a thing with... like... randomly licking my forehead. It's oddly adorable. I usually wipe it off pretty quickly though because being adorable doesn't make it less gross, haha.

FI leaves me good morning/i love you notes most mornings before he goes to work. Also, most of the time when we're coming back from hanging out with friends or really just going out and doing something that might be an all-day or most of the night thing, he'll go into a convenience store and get us a bag of cheese popcorn to share and some waters. Sometimes candy.

He's good. I'll keep him.

Whenever we're cuddling he likes to sniff my hair... like I can hear him sniffing it. Its very adorable.

This one might be TMI, but if he's up and I'm getting dressed, if he sees me getting ready to put on undies or bras he feels the need to give my giblits a sort of goodbye, which normally involves his face in those areas. At least I know he likes looking at me. hehe.

Also we have this thing where we fist bump with the "I love You" hand sign and then when we break it we make explosion noises. We do this even in public. I'm sure lots of people at our University think we are weird.

It's all about perspective. I've logged in 36 years thus far. I laughed at this comment. I completely understood what she meant. Some quirks stand the test of time. Others, you can no longer stand.

Aw, I love reading these. We have a lot of the same ones. FI loves back scratches, or as we call them, back tickles. He always opens doors for me and grabs my hand to hold in public. It's sweet and makes me feel like he's proud to be with me.

Also, if I'm cooking and need to pull my hair back, he'll do it for me if my hands are all covered in food. He used to have long hair, so he's good at the messy bun!

V loves back scratches too! He also writes me little notes and he makes this face called "big sad eyes". He just looks like a puppy when he does that. Also he loves eating. When we get leftovers they never survive the car ride home or the next morning. He would be snacking at 3 am ha.

Most of our quirks have something to do with "wildness." Like, when either of us is grouchy, we make wild animal growls, which causes the other one to make them, too. I call people and things "hatebeasts" when I don't like what they're doing, so if I come home from work and I'm in a really shitty mood, he'll tuck me in under the blankets in "hatebeast quarantine." And whenever one of us wants to hold hands, we'll say "paw time."

All these adorable hand signals. DH and I use our pointer finger and middle finger (like the peace sign) and bend our fingers like..

Okay I can't even explain. We make the sound that a rabbit makes, a sniss, by blowing air out your nose, while doing the hand signal. It means a variety of things, from I love you, to I despise what you've done. Its all about the inflection of the sniss sound.

That sounds so weird. I'm sorry. Haha. But we do this in public and do the hand signal to say bye and stuff.

I too, become a fiancé burrito, but only because he likes to cuddle his ridiculously ice cold body on me after I've been a burrito for a few minutes.

FI has a weird saying for when you need to get out a sticky situation, you "Run like fish!". I have no idea where this phrase came from, something about his friends said it when he was 12 or something.

If I happen to be reading on the bed when it's "meal time" (his internal clock never allows his meal times to be at a normal time), a plate of food will be served to me in bed.

My favorite thing is that I get instant back and foot rubs if I sound the slightest bit cranky. Don't tell him, but I was never this "cranky" before he met me. I unabashedly abuse the hell out of this.

He delights in Spanglishing things up, trying to figure out just how far he can go without anyone other than me understanding what he says. It drives my sister crazy, because she's afraid her kids will learn to copy their tio and never learn to speak correctly. I love being his "wheefay" (wife).

Oh oh something else FI does - he cuddles in his sleep. Last night I was watching an episode of BBT and he'd gone on to sleep, which almost never happens, and he rolled over and pulled me closer and stuck his hand in the pocket of my pajamas.

We also Level Up at the end of every grocery trip. Because grocery shopping sucks.

We do the first thing pretty often, but the story here is about the second thing.

I bought a Doctor Who shirt around Easter 2013 and was SO EXCITED about it. It's red and has a silhouette of a weeping angel at the top and underneath it says "Keep Calm and Don't Blink". So - obviously - I wore it the next time I saw FI (who at that time was not even really BF; we'd just started hanging out about two months prior). We were binge-watching Doctor Who because I'd never really seen it until we started hanging out, and we'd just watched the episode "Blink" and I had developed a (still-ongoing) love/hate relationship with the angels.

So I walk into his apartment and he bursts out of his room to show me HIS new shirt - which is blue, has a TARDIS silhouette, and says "Keep Calm and Don't Blink". I look at his shirt, he looks at my shirt, and we BUST OUT LAUGHING.

We say the same thing at the same time and wear the same colors, too. Mind melded, I like that. We also communicate in "mew"s. Usually high pitched. He did it in front of the car sales man today. embarassing .

Fi is always sending me the bird/duck/chicken emoji thing. On his Droid (Google Phone? Nexus? I dunno, non-iphone) it looks like a smiling bird, which reminds him of this stuffed animal that we have that I LOVE. Fi makes our stuffed duck do a cute little dance too, and we randomly mention him in conversation (the bird's name is Chuck and, like, just today I was doing accounting homework and Fi asks "Did you want Chuck to tutor you? He's a professor you know. He has a doctorate in bird science." Like wtf? Who says random stuff like that?!).

I can't figure out how to bold on mobile but I would love to play GTA: Market Basket! Some days it feels that way.
