Also the local PAC is doing it in October and I'm so getting tickets. All time favorite show. Dream role (when I grow up) is Mrs. Lovette

    I"m very excited.  Someone said that Youtube had more rehearsals and she looked/sounded even better in them.  I like having the whole philharmonic on the stage too.

    Who is playing Sweeney?  I've been randomly googling, but so far all the news is Emma, so there's no mention of him.

    See, I really hate the entire Beggar Woman/Joanna and Joanna/Anthony storylines.  And the music for them.  I could just have Sweeney, Mrs. Lovette, and Toby and be perfectly happy.  I do like the addition of Sweeney's nemesis, but still don't need the others for that to work.

    HOLY SHIT, I JUST FOUND OUT WHO'S PLAYING SWEENEY, IT'S BRYAN TERFEL.

    This is going to be an amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing show.  He's a magnificent singer and can actually act too (opera singers aren't always well known for their acting).

    I really loved the concert (despite Patti LuPone) where they brought out Michael Cerveris and George Hearn. I have such an old man crush on George Hearn. And he was so lovely to meet.
