Hows your planning process going?

Just wondering how everyone elses planning and checks are coming along?

I finally ordered invites today, designed half our menu that will be on every place setting, and completely found a different hosting site for our website and completely redid it. I'm in love! You can see it here (<-- clicky) if you'd like! (Remember we're locals so accommodations aren't necessary!)

    I love your website! Very cute graphics and what a beautiful couple you two are!

    We are 7 weeks out and all I need to do is find shoes and jewelry. And a backless bra! ;)

    (I should note that even when our vow renewal was 9 months away a few days ago, this is still all that I had left to do. I am SUCH a planner. LOL)

    Thanks! Wix made it SUPER easy! I haven't even really thought about jewelry or shoes yet! I guess that's one ofthe next steps. I feel like most of the major stuff is done, but then I just keep remembering (realizing?) all the small details!

    I am a planner too and it is driving my FI nuts. LOL. I've actually slowed down on the planning because of other things happening in our lives right now, but I already ordered the invites as well. We have my wedding dress seamstress ready to go and dress ideas, I ordered my daughter's dress (which will need alterations as well), we'll be booking our hotel stay soon, venue is booked. And I'm not getting married til 10/1/15! LOL!

    Sort of stuck right now until we get more rsvp's back.  

    My first fitting for my dress is supposed to be in October, so I'm trying to get that scheduled.  I've gotten both pairs of my shoes.  Now I just need accessories (jacket, jewelry, headband), but I don't think I can decide on those until I have my first fitting.  

    Also need to get our wedding rings ordered.  That will probably be done in a week or two.

    I'm 17 days away, so I'm surely hoping I'm prepared! Only thing really left for me is picking up my dress from being bustled on 10/1, get his tux on 10/9 and drive to Vegas!

    so...i'm planning for May next year and have next to nothing done lol. I put everything on hold till our trip there the first week of Nov. I just couldn't book anything without seeing it first. Hopefully once we get back we should have a game plan, then the real planning begins

    We are 6 months out and have the big things done - just working on smaller details now. Ordered our rings last month, BM dresses just came in, booking our rehearsal dinner this week. I've just been browsing Etsy and finding things I like for decor, BM gifts, etc. It's crazy how the little things seem like far more work than the big stuff!

    112 days out.  I just put the deposit down on the ceremony venue.  The suite is booked, but not for the night before (it wasn't available), so I'm freaking out about that a little bit.  I've got to redo the invites but thinking about doing it all online, just for speed's sake.  First fitting the first weekend in November.  Got my shoes, my jewelry and FH's stuff.  Need to set up a block and decide on the after ceremony hosting.

    I'm still working on it.  I want to have it the night before as well, so I don't have to worry.  So, suite for a total of three nights and then moving to a regular deluxe room.  I will ask on the secured early check in though.

    What shoes did you pick?? I've been on the lookout for flats but I have huge feet so it's been a struggle. I found a pair of 1" wedge sandals that may have to suffice. Would love to see what you chose!

    I got a pair of Tieks (patent red). They are spendy, but I spent a lot less on my pair of heels than I had planned, so I splurged.

    I'm about 5.5 months out and I have ceremony and reception venues booked, save the dates out, website half-done, photographer booked, dress ordered, hair/makeup artist booked, and room block set up.

    Still need to book cake baker, plan rehearsal dinner and meet and greet, book flights, book hotel, make and send invitations, make my veil, make table numbers and place cards, order rings, find shoes, finish website, book limos, finace needs to find his attire.

    I feel behind. But, we don't have bridesmaids/groomsmen, and we aren't doing centerpieces...

    Oh yeah, and I have to book the honeymoon too! I wish I was feeling more motivated to finish up the planning! I just want to be there getting married already!

    The struggle is real. Sorry, I had to say it. I am having the same exact problem. Size 11 feet. Can't do narrow and some wides are TOO wide. FI is an inch shorter than me...I don't want to tower over him.
