    Is she allergic to cats or dogs?

    Time to rescue a horde and make their room the guest room.

    Or you could turn the guest room into an office or something. . . it's kind of hard to sleep in a room with no bed.

    Aw Climbing, I am sorry for your situation there. This, once again, makes me so thankful for my Rock Star Awesome (but, sadly, late) MIL. We had a deal with each other - no drawing in each other's dust. She never butted into our business, never told us how to raise kids and was beyond loving and welcoming when I joined the family. I would have honestly considered letting her live with us....in a nice big house. Now, my aunt who was my guardian? Oh HELL NO!

    He doesn't mean to. He's just one of those people who are loud. Everything they do is loud. He wakes up early and wants to putter in the kitchen but the kitchen is close to our room. He says 'well shut the door.' But we have two cats and they have to be able to get in and out for the litter box.

    Having said that he has improved. He used to bring his own light bulbs - higher wattage - and change them out because he said he couldn't read the paper with mine.
