My nephew is getting married on 11/15. This was decided very quickly. The brides friends had originally planned to host a shower at a particular venue, but the bride did not want to have it there. She and her father had booked another venue. This is where I enter the picture. She is telling my sister that she is very unhappy with the plans the other women are making for her shower and she does not want them to host the shower. I tell my sister that I would be happy to host the shower. So I take over. I start communicating with the bride. All I ask for was the name and address of the venue and ask for names and addresses of the guest that she wanted to invite. I received the info and ordered the invites. I received them and mailed them out to the guests yesterday. Today, my sister calls me and informs me that the venue name and address is incorrect. The bride gave me the name and address of the original venue. How do I correct this? Print another invitation with the correct information and put a note on it (if so, how should it read?), call everyone, etc. I am so embarrassed and just sick to my stomach. It is a huge shower since she does not really have time for multiple showers and she did not want a tea. So I mailed out 60 invites.

Any ideas on how to tactfully correct this situation?
