When Kapuchee was a kitten he used to suck his toe and knead with his paws. He used to do this until he fell asleep. His toe would be soaking wet after. He also loves to turn on the lights sometimes. He just jumps up on the wall and hits the light switch. When I lived on my own, the first time I came home to my bedroom light on, I nearly had a heart attack. He also purrs like a pigeon. Not like the regular car purr, like instead of a meow he purrs out loud like a pigeon. Maybe it's more of a coo?  So I come home, and I'm like "Hi Kapuchee!" and he responds "Coooo!" He also runs away in horror whenever I sing "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston.

Pesto loves to sunbathe. Whenever there is any bit of sunshine, coming into the apartment, he finds the perfect spot, and just sprawls. He loves chewing plastic bags, so we need to keep them hidden. If he gets to one, he will chew it, and poop out a nice plastic covered surprise. He loves to curl up on our clothes. Especially dark clothes. He is a mostly white cat.

They also both love attacking our food, and mealtime is a constant battle. We had to get a garbage can with a pet lock on it because they would knock the old one over, and raid it,  when we slept. And if the litter box is not up to their standards, or it is TOO clean, they will poop on the ground right next to it.

Oh yea, and Kapuchee plays fetch with straws. He also hoards them behind closet doors.

    Aww..he's helping with clean up!!

We used to have a hotot rabbit named Trix. Prettiest thing ever, looked like below, but a damn bitch. She would jump up in the air, spin in a circle, and PEE like a freakin' sprinkler of nastiness all over the living room. Anyone who's had rabbits knows that their piss comes from a special level of hell.
    image
Ahh!!!!  Hotot! I've always wanted one.  Was she fixed?  Unfixed females do stuff like that all the time.  They're also worse than cats in terms of bitchiness if you don't get them fixed.  Males will hump a lot but for the most part remain sweet regardless if you fix them or not.

My dog walks when she pees.  It's super annoying, especially when she has an accident in the house.  Could you not just pee in one place on the tile?  Does it really need to be a trail through the carpeted living room?   Uhhhh... I have no idea. Probably not. She was a giant bitch. If we reached in her cage to pet her she'd pounce like a cat and scratch the hell out of our hands.
BOTH of our old Golden Retrievers were walking pee-ers. Ruger would pee during walks around the block, leaving a hilarious squiggly line of piss on the sidewalk. Huey didn't get as many walks since we lived in the country by then, but he was a giant baby who was scared of everything. If he heard something like the electric pencil sharpener or applause on TV, he would run across the house, peeing the whole way, and hide under my parents' bed.
    ---------------------------------------TK is a box bully------------------------------------------------

Yeah, she definitely wasn't fixed.  If you ever want another bunny, make sure she is fixed young enough.  I raised bunnies for awhile.  I had a brother and a sister who were both fixed.  Girl was a sweetheart, except when I took the broom to her cage to clean it.  For some reason she
hated it.  She would growl and attack it.  I never understood why.

We also have a cat that is way too fat (like 21 pounds, it's ridiculous) and watching him jump onto surfaces is the funniest thing ever.  He has to prepare and bear down on his hind legs, and then he throws himself into this reverse swan dive looking jump with his front paws thrust out behind him.  Trying to get him to run around more and eat less has been a fail.  He keeps getting into the closest and tearing through the boxes and bags to get through the food.  What a fatty.

  • My dog farts and startles himself.  Like loud, ass-ripping farts.  Then he jumps, looks at his butt, and takes a good sniff of it.

He used to be horrible about eating things.  We got new tile, and there were hundreds of spacers between the tiles while they dried.  We walked away for about 5 minutes and every last little spacer was gone.  On one of our first dates he ate 2 entire pork tenderloins, one of which was still raw.

Also, he is almost 140lbs and thinks he's a lap dog.  He climbs up on the couch and curls up with us every night.

  • I almost forgot. My weird cat Neffie also answers when you talk to her.

    "Whatcha doing Neffers"
    "Meow"
    "You're so cute"
    "Meow"
    "Love your"
    "Meow"

Also whenever you say her name her tail twitches a little.
  • My cat Dante needs to touch you.  He'll sit on my pillow and if FI is beside me, re rests his paw on FI's shoulder like "Hey there, chum!"

I have woken up several times in the night with Dante as 'little spoon' or with his head settled on top of my head.

When I am on the computer, he will check up on me every half an hour or so by touching my leg and giving a little meow.  He will then sit patiently until I turn around to pet him.

He also likes to dangle his feet off the arm rest of the couch or  dangle his head.  It makes him look depressed, but I think it feels good.

  • One of our dogs refuses to lay down or even attempt to sleep until the lights are off...DIVA.

They have to be fed in a certain order or the freak out and don't know what to do.

  • One of our dogs will fake sneeze on command. He thinks he's speaking. (He's not very bright)

  • I have two adorable Pomeranian-Chihuahua mixes... one boy, one girl.

The boy does cartwheels when he pees.  We've determined that it's his attempt to pee higher on bushes to make other dogs think he's a big dog. The girl does handstands when she pees.  She will walk on just her front two legs while peeing. Oh, and the boy will occasionally pee in the house, but he only will pee ON the toilet. I swear that he thinks that's where we pee, so he's trying to copy us and pee in the toilet too, but he's just too short to actually get it IN the toilet.

Like a PP, the boy also shows his front teeth while smiling. He does it everyday when we come home. I have yet to get a photo, but it's adorable... and kind of scary looking.

Girl dog has a defect with her mouth (severe overbite) that affects her breathing.  Nothing really serious health wise, but she snores REALLY loud when she's sleeping. And she often snorts when she's awake.  I have now nicknamed her Piggy, because she LOVES food, sounds like a pig when she snorts, and has a curly tail.

  • Seneca was an awesome little cat. He would play fetch. We did not train him to do that. But he would only fetch his rainbow poof balls. Nothing else was good enough to play with. When he was a kitten, he would walk around holding his mouse toys by the tail. He'd just be chillin, with this little mousy hanging out the side of his mouth. Seneca also liked shiny things. He stole my engagement ring when I was sleeping many times.

Kit was a mini Persian blend with solid white fur. She used to climb the Christmas tree all the way to the top. We never had to get fake snow because she took care of it for us.

Medea is a little butt. She will steal your seat and also your food. If you have Cheetos, popcorn, tuna, or anything with onions in it, she will cry and hit you with her face until she gets some. So glad my mom has to deal with this instead of me.

We'll see how Kitten is. She got off to a great start by trying to climb up the inside of my skirt as soon as I walked in the room!

  • My dog has smiled like this all her life:
    image
...it was much more adorable when she had all her teeth.
Does your furbaby do the bichon blitz? Ours is nuts.
She plays "Skitter" where if she's excited she sort of gallivants around and her nails skitter on whatever hard surface she's on. She's an old girl though so she's not so nuts any more. She used to be.

  • My cat does all sorts of weird things. He likes playing fetch and playing with water. When we had a pull up faucet, he would turn on the water when we weren't home.

The weirdest thing he does, however, is sitting up like a person while he sucks on the tip of his tail. It's so bizarre.
  • We adopted my last cat as a kitten from a rescue organization.  The first night, he climbed up on our bed and began nursing on my earlobe.  Nothing could convince him that it wasn't a mommy-cat nipple.  He kneaded his bread in my hair and continued to try and nurse on my ear.  He never broke the habit.  Occasionally, even as a 15 pound adult cat, he would jump in my lap, put his paws around my neck and start sucking on my earlobe!  We were heartbroken when he died young.
Our current cat is much too dignified to do anything like that.

I used to have a fiddler crab that would ride my catfish around the tank. The catfish did not seem to notice or care.

We used to have a cat that wouldn't groom itself. A combination of baths and vaccuming cleaned him right up! He was totally cool with it.
