Wedding Invitation Wording

HI, I am paying for the wedding myself.  My fiancé bought the house. How do I word the invitations?   Thanks in advance for any help.

    What does the bolded have to do with anything.

    Who is hosting, are you and your Fiance hosting? Where is your ceremony? We need more info before we can help.

  • If you are having a church wedding, it would be this:

    The honour of your presence is requested
    at the marriage of
    Bride's Full Name
    and
    Groom's Full Name
    Day, date of month
    time o'clock
    Church Name
    Address
    City, State

    For a ceremony that is not held in a church:

    The pleasure of your company is requested
    at the marriage of
    Bride's Full Name
    and
    Groom's Full Name
    (etc.)

    If the reception is being held in the same place as the ceremony, you put "Reception to follow" at the bottom of the invitation.  If it is in a different location, then you use a separate reception card.

    Venue
    Address
    City, State
