Michael's Wedding Invites Discount

Just saw that on Friday (9/26), Michael's will be having 40% off Wedding Invitations and Favor Kits online. Thought I'd share the wealth :)

Has anyone used their kits for invites? I was thinking of just buying a template off of Etsy and printing my own, but this might be a better option.

Re: Michael's Wedding Invites Discount

  • I got my invites from Party City, but used other stuff from Michales and found it very easy. I did my escort cards, invites for a bridal party & family meet & great, and my rehersal dinner invites. Yes I did rehersal dinner invites. In my circle people do better when they have a document to remind them of an event, especially one that fits on the fridge. Plus then they has something in writing with the address of where the church & resturant were for their GPS because none of our bridal party was familiar with the church location. Plus we had some OOT guests that were invited to the dinner portion.
  • We used Michael's for our invites and printed them on our home printer. It was really easy. It took a bit of time to assemble, but it was really fun. DH and I opened a bottle of wine, put on some music and had a really good time doing it.

  • We used Michael's Invitations, and everyone thought we had them professionally done.
  • Thanks for the tip.  My sister got married and we used vistaprint.com.  I helped to design her invites and they were a hit.  We got 100 for about $80 with a coupon code from retailmenot.com
