good way to include a song? - simple gifts

So I think people usually look for which song to fit an event or ceremony bit, but in this case, I really want to include a specific song, and just can't find the perfect fit to our ceremony.

I'm fine with it being part of the prelude or even postlude, but if anyone has ideas of a great ceremony fit I'm open to suggestions...

Here is one of my favorite arrangements, so pure and beautiful. We're having a string trio play for our ceremony.

    I love "Simple Gifts" and that's a beautiful arrangement. I'm not sure where to tell you to play it, I would think prelude?

    Or bridesmaid processional or your processional....  it's lovely and would work perfectly.

    Sorry to necro-bump this, but, we heard about and LOVED and decided to include the giving of roses to parents ceremony, and decided to have Simple Gifts played during this giving of roses. I can't think of a more perfect song. :) Just wanted to share with anyone else who might be doing this!
