I've never read the book, so I had zero expectations going in. It was good but odd. That was one weird movie.

I'm quite intrigued. IDK when I'm going to have time to take in a movie. Here's hoping it's on demand/blu-ray by Christmas.

It didn't help that it was about 30 minutes too long and there was a lot of jumping around in the storyline.

I read the book, and I've seen a lot of complaining about it in online reviews, comments, etc. I thought it was entertaining, but I was neither "OMG, best thing I ever read" or "this book sucked!"

It WAS weird, for sure, and by the end I was sort of incredulous, but it didn't diminish my enjoyment. I feel like it's one of those "take for what it is" kind of things. Glad to see this posted because I haven't seen the movie, and I probably won't while it's in theaters. I didn't love it enough to use up a date night seeing it.

I feel like everyone I know saw that movie over the weekend.

I did hear that it's really long, which is a bummer. I have a hard time sitting for a 2+ hour movie. I'm guessing we'll wait for dvd for this one but I really want to see it.

I saw it this weekend too. I liked the book until the end and then I just wanted to throw my kindle across the room. I enjoy seeing movie versions of books,so H & I went to see it. I was hoping somehow there would be some changes to the ending....

It was a well done movie though.

I thought the movie was well done in comparison to the book. Both made me feel "off" and uneasy afterwards.

I'm off to see this today. I loved the book, which should beno surprise to Catherine Winters readers. It's actually my go-to comparison for Madness (available for pre-order now!).
