    I tease my mom that the reason fiancé and I waited so long to get married is that she bought me the KitchenAid when I was moving across the country to live with him. 

    While obviously not true, I love my KitchenAid (dark blue) and the pasta attachment. I mostly make lasagna or ravioli with it or just do general baking. I have the sausage maker, from fiancé's mom because she never used it, but I've yet to use it either.

    My Kitchenaid is so old I cannot remember when my parents acquired it.
    My dad did wedding cakes for friends and family members I remember just sitting there waiting for the ones to come out of the oven and then him trimming.   Mmmmm cake.

    This Kitchenaid is so old that the manual is no longer with it and when you look it up online this is what you get:
