Honeymoon

Has anyone started planning their honeymoon? Our wedding is the start of school vacation, so we are trying to look for somewhere to go that won't be super expensive.

    We are going to take a mini-moon to the casino in CT.  After that we might take the kids to see the show Frozen near Boston :) It will be perfect since they are out of school and LOVE the movie lol

    Oh nice! They are going to love it! I am having a hard time figuring it out. A cruise would be nice but taking the risk of flight delays in the middle of winter scares me. We are looking at Puerto Rico and Aruba. If we cant figure that out we are thinking California.

    We JUST started planning our honeymoon this month. We've decided on the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia. They're all inclusive!

    I figure if we didn't do all inclusive we would be paying for separately: Hotel for however many nights, food and beverages, tips, roundtrip air flights, and extra excursions we wanted to do such as scuba diving, horseback riding, etc. With the all inclusive, tips are included in the price along with all you can eat and all you can drink premium cocktail drinks, a couple excursions, and airplane tickets. Our room is included and we are staying 9 nights and our room is oceanfront with king suite and balcony where we can enjoy breakfast every morning. Altogether it came out to be between 6-7 grand. But that's only because of the room we picked, the amount of time we're deciding to stay and the resort. St. Lucia has three Sandals resorts on the island, so it depends on which resort you pick. Some are pricier than others, that's what I got from it anyway after researching. We initially wanted to do Beaches by Sandals in Turks and Caicos, but that was a little more pricey.

    We booked our honeymoon last month and are going to Belize for 10 days. We're doing 4 days at the beach to relax and then 6 days in the rainforest doing excursions.

    How exciting! We are going to Costa Rica for 10 days, we are super thrilled about that. We will be doing some excursions like zip lining & snorkling; and the other days we will be relaxing and enjoying our stay :)

    We decided on Aruba! The only thing is our flight is the next morning at 8 am. At least we can sleep on the flight.

    We decided on Disney World. We booked 7 days in Florida.

    I think we have decided to go to Hawaii. We aren't going until Spring break, though.

    We are going to Kauai for a week. Most flights leave super early in the morning so we decided on a Monday departure & we'll relax/open gifts (& eat leftover wedding cake!!) on Sunday. :smile:
