FI got a facebook message from a girl he used to work with that said "Hey! Our wedding is this weekend. YOU are welcome to attend. No partners or children, just YOU. Let us know if you can make it and we'll send you an invitation in the mail hopefully by tomorrow."

There are SO many things wrong with that. Like, seriously.

Honestly, I dream of being rude but am unfailingly polite. If this is truly someone he "used to work with" can he get away with an honest response? Instead of saying, "No thank you" could he actually tell her she was rude to ask? Would it burn a bridge or cause further drama? Inquiring minds!!

Honestly, I've only met her twice. She shows up to FI's birthday party each year, and that's the only time we see her. FI wanted to invite her to our wedding, so I kind of want to fbook invite HER only, but that's the snarky me to see how she likes it. I too am unfailing polite. Stupid parents, teaching me how to properly behave in society lol

Why on earth would you want to keep a bridge to this particular couple? Burn that shit to the ground; they are gross. A little "drama" never killed anyone, and if standing up for himself means her Fi loses a shitty friend, that sounds like a win-win to me.

So rude! FI had a co-worker invite us to her wedding earlier this summer. On a Wednesday she asked him if we wanted to come to her wedding...which was that Friday. No thank you! But at least she invited both of us? Haha.
