You're supposed to bury a bottle of bourbon upside-down on the grounds of your venue a month before the wedding date to ensure good weather. Then you take a shot of it the day of.

First time ever hearing about this tradition. I don't know how many places would be happy with a client just digging up a random hole on their property. I say do it in your own or a family member's yard.

Can you do a fake burial? Ask the venue to put it in the basement until your wedding day? Stick it in a flower pot and ask the venue to hold it for you in a cabinet?

Ridiculous I know but I LOVE traditions and superstitions like all get out.
