A girl on my Facebook posted the complete wedding invitation of her best friend on facebook with the caption #shitjustgotreal. Full names, date, time, place, everything. If I can see it, I know her entire feed can see it.

DONT SHARE OTHER PEOPLE'S INFORMATION, especially on social media where hundreds of people can see. It's so rude and a safety concern. Not everything needs a post.

UPDATE: someone commented on the picture, "does this mean that everyone who sees this is invited?" It was perfect. She took the picture down about 30 minutes later.
Anybody else been around long enough to remember the huge stalker drama when P&E was still around?

There was a SS who was BSC. One of her posts was about how pissed she was that her kid was being kicked out of daycare because she hadn't paid since she "needed to use the money for the wedding." She got really butthurt that nobody would take her side. It turned out one of the good brides was from her area and had all of her vendors listed in her bio (back when they were pop-ups). BSC Bride called around pretending to be Good Bride and trying to cancel her vendors. I remember Good Bride was (rightly) freaking out that BSC Bride might show up at the wedding.

You never know who is taking in the information you put out on the interwebs.

    Mine too, that is HORRIFYING.
    Wedding Countdown Ticker

  • This is my worst fear!  We really haven't been announcing anything on social media, no ring shots, etc.  But my STD are going out soon, and I'm afraid someone is going to start posting stuff, or tagging me in "Just got your STD, so excited!" type of posts.

Social media...love to hate it, hate to love it.

I remember that story from P&E.

H's psycho ex kept threatening to "ruin our day", so I called our venue/vendors to ask about their cancellation policy. Most just required your name and wedding date.

I had them add a note to our contract specifying to ask for the last four digits of our CC number in addition to our name and wedding date. They were all happy to do it, and a few already had that as a requirement, which made me feel better.
