  I really like the Mary Kay one. I buy the sample size packets on eBay cuz I'm too cheap to buy full size. Idk how well it'll do for deep lines though.

  Oooh, they have that set on Amazon for like $30. Some of the reviews are saying it helps control their acne, too, which would be the bomb dot com. I may have to check that out. 

  
  

  What I'm finding online is that I may need to look into something more serious, like a chemical peel, for the bitchface wrinkles, though. 

  
  

  Ulta just sent me a coupon for some Dermalogica face treatments, so maybe I'll check that out and talk to them about what I can do at home to minimize salon visits. The power resurfacing peel would only be like $28.

  You might want to ask a dermatologist instead of a spa. I just remember going to my dermatologist to talk about some acne scars I had and she said I might consider a light chemical peel to get rid of them. But she begged me not to go to a spa because sometimes people aren't really qualified for something like that, and it could actually end up damaging my skin or doing more harm than good. IDK if your insurance covers dermatologist visits, but they might have a lot of good suggestions for you.

  I also like the Mary Kay one. It made my skin feel amazing and I did not breakout as much while using it. I only used the samples, but if I had the disposable income I would totally buy it.

  I've used the Dermalogica Microfoliant (gentler) and the Kate Somerville Exfolikate.(coarser)  Both are pricey but awesome. I use for my acne, so I can't attest too much to the deeper lines. Also if you want to check out the Kate Somerville, Sephora is having a 20% off everything this weekend. They also have a small size.

  I really liked the WEXLER set from Bath and Body Works. My skin looked great when I did the Glyco Peel and the Skin Regenerating Serum (the serum is the best stuff).  They also have a micro set that my Mom used and liked. Unfortunately I haven't been able to buy it for awhile, and they stopped carrying my favorite cleanser, so I've been trying out different cleansers.  I might go back to their universal anti-aging cleaner though.  
  
  ETA: That the glyco peel is more gentle than one from a spa, so the results are more gradual, but if you follow the directions you won't over do it and hurt your skin.

  My health insurance does cover dermatologists, but since I'm moving in a month-ish, I don't want to start a new relationship with a doctor I'll probably never see again. Maybe after I move and figure out new insurance / FI's insurance.

  cosenti7 - Whoooo boy, yeah, that's definitely pricey! It looks like they have a mini size for $22, so maybe I'll see if they have that in one of the stores this weekend. It's really, really well-reviewed and seems like it's worth a shot! 

  
  

  @levioosa - I just started using the philosophy Purity cleanser and I'm totally in love with it. I still get the same acne issues as before, but significantly reduced (in size, frequency, and duration). They have a little sample-sized bottle at Ulta for $10 and it's lasted me like a month already, with probably another month's worth left.

  I like using Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash once a week or so.  They have a 2 step peel but it's more expensive ($70).  I've found this wash is pretty gentle but effective!

  
  

  I have tried out a few of the Boots no7 products from Ulta and like them so far! They all seem to get great reviews on Ulta and reasonably priced!

  I have an on/off relationship with Birchbox. One of my friends gets the BEST stuff in hers, so I signed up for it, filled out my profile, and somehow there's usually, like, mayyyybe 2 things that I like, and the rest I could really live without. I tried it once for 6 months, canceled it, then tried it a year later for another 6 months, and just canceled it again this summer.

  This. I love the wash and I actually finally gave in and got the 2-step peel as a last-ditch effort to improve the look of a scar on my chin before consulting an expert.
  
  It's AMAZING. People can't even tell I had this horrible scar on my chin anymore because it has faded so much. After years I can go out to run an errand without a full face of makeup and not feel self-conscious. If my house was on fire, I would grab the two cats and this peel. No kidding.

  I actually did too. I wonder if they load the older members down with more crap and give better stuff to new people. I canceled when we were saving for the wedding, partially because things were getting lame. But I started back up again and am back to good stuff.
