in Wedding Woes
DH and I were at TRU yesterday and I literally squealed out loud when I saw the Puppy and Kitty Surprise toys.  My sister and I had these when we were kids.

I know we had a pony and a puppy, and there were also bunnies.

    I don't remember having these, but I do remember them being for about the people 2-3 years younger than me.

    OMG!! I had a kitty surprise when I was little!!!!

    Too funny, I hadn't thought about those toys in awhile. And I agree, it's a little bit creepy to basically perform a C-section on a stuffed animal.. :)

    I think we had the puppy version of this as kids. 

    Somewhat related - When I was in HS, I did a veterinary science "apprenticeship" /lab class where we operated on rats. On Hysterectomy day, one of the rats that we opened up was pregnant, which was pretty neat. You could actually count the number of fetuses. The team that got the pregnant rat sewed her back up, and she delivered all of the babies a few weeks later ( I think there was 6, total - all of them made it.) We spent the better part of a few classes playing with the baby rats, who were pretty cute at a few weeks old.
