    I don't think that anything in her post indicated this. What a weird conclusion to jump to.
    To go from being like besties and really close to like all of a sudden never talking or seeing each other, it was just the first thing that came to mind.  I don't know why else someone would virtually kick someone out of their life.

    I had a similar situation, I'm not really big into facebook, don't post a lot, update a lot etc so when I happened to see this particular post about a family member having a baby, I pretended I didn't even see it. Immature, probably. But none the less when I ran into them 2 months down the road and I had this shocked look on my face and said "oh I had no idea you were  pregnant, congrats I feel so stupid" it clearly made my point. You do not count on facebook to get your announcement to those close to you. A group text to immediate family would have been a whole lot better.
