I am getting married at VIP Country Club in New Rochelle next year and I wanted get honest reviews from past brides or guests about the quality of the food. I searched the boards, but 2011 was the last review and i just want review from the past year. I went to a Saturday morning wedding there recently and was not impressed by the food - it was very bland! The reception was buffet style serving the cocktail hour food (carving station, paella). Though this is not the style reception I will have, I am quite nervous as food is really important to my family. I have the Signature wedding package which includes 7 cocktail hour stations, plated dinner, and dessert stations. Any information you can provide on the cocktail hour food, the main dishes, and desserts would be great.
Please help...I am considering changing venues, but want to get honest reviews before I make such a big decision.
