Like @cafarrie‌ I prefer cheese and salty stuff to sweet and chocolatey stuff. But from the 3, I prefer white chocolate.

I love white chocolate. Milk chocolate is a very close second. Not a fan of dark. The darker it gets, the less I like it. Don't like the bitter taste. You dark ladies can have all of mine if I get all of the white.

So H and I went to the store the other day. They have all their baking/Thanksgiving/Christmas stuff all out in front of all the aisles on display so you'll buy it. So there was tons of chocolate chips. So we bought a bag of cherry-filled chocolate chips for him, a bag of mint-filled chocolate chips for me, a bag of white chocolate chips for him and a bag of regular semi-sweet chocolate chips for me to use in baking.

And I made Amish Friendship Bread the other day. Two loaves with chocolate chips. And then last night I made two more loaves with not just chocolate chips but also making the entire bread chocolate.

And I made brownies the other night. Ghirardelli fudge brownies with chocolate chips and fudgy frosting on top. And my cousin brought chocolate moose tracks ice cream over the other night when he came for dinner, which means H and I now have about four partial containers of ice cream (all with chocolate in them) in our freezer right now.

I actually only like dark chocolate. I feel like the oddball sometimes because i'm just not that into chocolate in general - I am more of a vanilla kind of girl. However, if I have to eat it - its always dark. The darker the better, in fact!

All chocolate is my favourite chocolate! I voted dark though, because it's so versatile.

I bought a ton of chocolate chips last month for baking (which I haven't done yet), and I can tell you that probably only a third will actually make it into something. The rest will disappear somewhere between bag and bowl.

Also, our officiant (my former boss) gave us a chocolate fountain. She knows us well. DH and I totally gorged ourselves on dipped pineapple, nougat, marshmallows, cherries, chips, and cream caramels this weekend!

@lolo883- thanks for the reminder! That's actually really easy to make. I've made it for work events, holiday snacks, gifts, etc. Kettle corn is easy to make on the stove (or from a microwaved bag...) then just pour it onto cookie sheets and drizzle chocolate over it. If I'm being good, I'll wait for it to dry, turn it, then drizzle the back of the popcorn kernels too.

I've also been known to mix it with homemade caramel corn. You can also add things like mini chocolate chips or mini M & Ms while the chocolate is still warm and they kind of stick. Salty peanuts could be good.

Now I need to make some.

If I'm munching, milk chocolate. If I'm craving hardcore, then a small amount of dark chocolate does me. It's pretty good - J prefers dark and I prefer milk, so we don't fight.

He was also gone for seven night, and I came home from work last night to find a bar of Russell Stover sitting on the steps. I love him.
