Those do look really cute but I struggle to find pencil skirts that work well on me. My hips are my widest part and my waist is quite small most that I've found either gap at the waist or are too tight across my hips. I'll definitely be on the hunt for a longer one though.

The longer A-line skirts look cute too, but I'm a boot addict during the winter and I also don't know how they'll look with boots- feel like it may be too bulky, kwim?

1. to be in my cozy bed right now with FI (just got to work and it is pouring rain and thundering/lightening outside i.e. the perfect day to be all snuggled up).

2. A new long black wool jacket. The lining in mine broke and I just haven't found one I liked as much yet.

3. my work to be magically finished for me so I don't have to stress out about it anymore.

Girrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl, I feel you. There is a 12-13" difference in my waist and hips. My hips are HUGE compared to the rest of me. I know every pencil skirt I buy will be a little meow in the back, but I'm always on the hunt.

Boots and a-line skirts will heavily depend on which boot. I think classic english riding boots, skinny boots with a heel, and booties will all work. You might even get away with a mid-shin slouchy boot if the toe is slightly pointed.

Good idea with the boot styles; now I may have to look into getting some booties. Oh, how I hate an excuse to go shopping.

My waist and hips are that 12-13" gap as well, so if you find a pencil skirt that works, feel free to end it my way!
