Re: the debate over the reception start time

  • Guess we were too scummy and pathetic for her.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • yep.   We were too Mean Girls for her liking.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  • I'm not too sad to see her leave, she wasn't very fun.

Bride wants to know if an 8pm dinner at her reception is too late. We say how about you deal with your 4 HOUR GAP first. She says we're mean witches. We lol. Exit stage left.
You forgot the part where she wanted it so late because she didn't want to have to leave the salad course to go take her sunset pictures at the very specific time of 7:38 pm

  • I definitely thought that was MUD but if she was so embarrassed she deleted her account, maybe there really is someone out there so nutty that they would hold up an entire wedding for photos at 7:38pm. Nevermind the crazy long gap.

Also, unless she was having a crazy long two hour ceremony, the gap would actually be 4-5 hours, unless my math is really bad which is always a possibility.

  • Man….that was the sixth one this month….*frowny face*

And it was providing me with the little bit of entertainment I've gotten today.

Watch it rain on her wedding day and so no sunset. . .

  • Damn, I missed it.

  • Damnit. Stupid new job. Making me miss my stories.

  • I was trying to reply to her last message but it was deleted. Her very last message said "its not an unhosted gap you monsters! I have trolleys through a wildlife preserve with cocktails and snacks!" I was going to say how fucking boring that sounded. I wouldn't want to be stuck on a trolley for 30 minutes nevermind 4 hours.

For real though, I wanted to read the rest of it when I got home. My favorite part was all the flags she was throwing for 'cruel comments' that weren't cruel and weren't TOS violations. The tattle thirst was real.

You guys really are monsters. Who wouldn't want to be on a trolley for four hours in a wildlife preserve in fancy wedding attire???
  • I'm always dying to know what these posters say to the mods when begging to have their accounts deleted. I'm sure we would get some good laughs out of it. @Liatris2010 are you allowed to tell us?

She didn't ask me, so I don't know. The account deleters usually go straight for TK gods and skip us lowly mods.

  • Oh sheesh!  The Zilla wedding we were invited to had a 2pm ceremony and 5pm cocktail start so photos could be done.  Way too long!

We got our sunset photos and sacrificed attending the cocktail hour, big whoop!
  • My favorite part was that she could make her guests wait 5 hours, but she couldn't miss 15 minutes of her reception to get the photos she wanted. Priorities

Well weddings are so expensive she has a right to enjoy every morsel and every second of what she paid for!!!!
