99% of the time, I orgasm during sex, but I have to be on top. I've only had an orgasm during missionary a handful of times, and like Jenna, I have to position myself just right. And I've only had an orgasm from oral like 4 or 5 times (all from H, which is why I married him).

Never a problem for me as I'm super easy. I was Fi's first and only so we're still trying to figure him out. We only do me on top and missionary because he loves to kiss and look at me and it works so no complaints from me (besides on how to get him there soon)

It has only happened with just penetrative sex twice, both missionary position. I have felt the build up more than that but can't manage to stay in the right position usually. But we use a vibrating toy during sex and I orgasm every single time. Combo internal and external stimulation is the best!

@doeydo I go through spells of this. I think I'm currently in one. I enjoy sex once it's going on, but I often make that face when FI is trying to put the moves on me and get me in the mood. Seeing that face made me laugh.

I've only had an O from penetration once ever, and it wasn't with FI. I feel guilty thinking about how awesome that time felt lol It happened with me on top, and I feel like the guy really knew what he was doing.

This (me not reaching an orgasm through penetration alone) caused a lot of issues for me and FI initially because he said every girl he's ever been with prior to me was able to orgasm this way. I declared that at least half of those girls had to have been faking because it's more common for women NOT to orgasm through penetration alone. And when I say issues, it wasn't that we fought about it, it's just that we both wondered what we were doing wrong and it made things complicated. I wonder if it has to do with our size. Both FI and I are very overweight so things don't always fit together as easily as they would if we were in better shape. We've figured it out now and he knows that I need a little something extra to get there, but I hate that because I'd love to just enjoy the moment with us together and still reach an orgasm without going through certain mandatory motions.

This is pretty much me exactly... just once or twice. BUT FI makes sure I have mine, every time. And he almost always waits for me to have mine before he has his!
To another poster's comment about using toys - my ex was very intimidated by the toys. The hilarious thing is, they guarantee I finish and with less work required from the man. So it's a win-win. I get mine quickly, and then we can focus on you babe! FI gets this. Why be intimated? Enjoy that it takes some pressure and work off of you! I'm definitely going to be researching that Jopen though...

I have definitely gotten there, and only with FI. It definitely is better with internal/external. I also agree with what a lot of people are saying about FI being on his knees, or me being on top. I'm watching for more tips and tricks though.

I usually always orgasm at least once from penetration with H. Never before him, though.

The best positions for me with this are doggy and H on his knees with my legs on his shoulders. Works every time.

@climbingbrideny Yes! I had a whole thread about this like 6 months ago. It happens in my sleep (and I wake up midway through) a handful of times per year. So not super often but still a good amount of times. Many people on that discussion said it happens to them!

@doeydo If you're just laying there thinking about not enjoying it then it will be tough. Try to think of imagines in your head that turn you on. I cannot come close if my mind is on dinner or work or tv shows, I have to close my eyes & actively visualize things that I find sexy in order to orgasm.

Honestly that's how I finally knew it was over with my ex, I mean I knew before that that it had to end and we weren't right for each other, but once I found I could no longer orgasm with him, well that was what gave me the kick in the ass to finally do it (and how he knew it was a problem.)

Don't hate me, but I'm one of those mythical creatures who gets off every single time. I mean, you have to actively TRY to keep me from having an orgasm. I've had really, really, REALLY lousy sex (not with DH), and I could still orgasm. Hell, I barely need contact. It's both a blessing and a curse. DH has no complaints and always feels like a stud.

This is exactly how I am. I honestly can't think of a time where I didn't O at least once. If I'm on top it happens the fastest but any position will work.

I agree. DH very much turns me on, even his beard smell when we're that close. When I say I have to visualize things, it's not other people. It's like acts that I think are hot, like I imagine it rougher than it really is (because that physically doesn't feel good for me but the thought of him just railing me hard is sexy) or the thought of him blowing a load on my boobs (again sexy in my mind but not so much in person). Those are the types of things that I visualize, not other people. That probably sounds really fucking weird hahaha
