I know we had a thread before (maybe in E??) about using wedding pictures in your holiday cards. Show me what you came up with! Babies or pets or whatever else is fair game as well.

And pretend I'm sending this to all of you lovelies.

I should really buy some stamps. I'll scan and post my cards, though they aren't photo ones (I'm cheap, though one of our cats would be adorable, IMO).

No photos on ours. My fiance loves cows so we have a set w/ a big cow face on the front. I am a Peanuts fan, so he also bought me a box of Peanuts cards to send out.

Generic store bought cards for us. FI hates HATES photos. But next year once we're married, I'm going to start making him do photo cards for the holidays. Because I'm an asshole

I want to do photo cards but we've only been given access to the online gallery (should be getting the USB drive with all of our pics this week). The photographers offered to expedite via email any pictures we might want to print for gifts or use for cards, but it's hard to tell on the gallery because you can't zoom and there are watermarks.

Would it be awful if we sent out Happy New Year cards instead of Christmas ones? I paid a lot of money for these pictures, and dammit, I want to get as much use as possible from them!

We're not doing holiday cards but may start after we get married. I find it difficult to find really cute cards that don't contain glitter and don't say Merry Christmas.

We aren't doing Christmas cards this year. Next year though, I want to use a wedding picture since we are getting married 2 days after Christmas. Either that or get a cute "family" pictures with our dogs and cat but they won't sit still long enough.

@kat1114 My sister sent out Happy New Year's cards last year! Her wedding was in late November so by the time they got pictures and cards ordered it was WAY too late to do Christmas cards. Totally cool IMO.

I can't seem to upload an image of ours but we ordered from Costco. It's one with a bunch of smaller images so we chose a couple wedding photos, one of our dog, and one from our engagement shoot.

I don't have picture of ours, but we used a card this year that had a reindeer on it with mittens hanging from it's antlers. We then put wedding photos of the guest we sent them to inside.

We did our cats the last few years, and this year I wanted to capture our new house. So yea didn't get the amazing picture I had hoped for.... but hey it works! The best part was how on board H was with this, normally he wants nothing to do with this kind of thing, but he was outside chasing the cats each time they jumped out of the box and helping me get their attention!

I have done Christmas cards since the day I moved out at 23, I love getting them, so I of course send them. And I LOVE the picture ones... the plain ones I barely even look at.

I was really sad that I hadn't done holiday cards, so I talked to DH and put my puppy dog eyes on and we looked at cards and found one we love! Spur of the moment decision for us.. But I'm so happy and feel good about sending our first Christmas card

This makes me sad that holiday cards are not a thing in SA. Of course, that's partly because we can't trust our post office...

I think it's a really sweet tradition and I wish we had it here.

We got cards with a kitty playing in Christmas decorations on the front. Everybody is getting this picture inside the card. Grandparents and family overseas are getting some extra family pictures from the wedding as well.

We just got a sneak preview of our engagement photos, so I only just threw a card together and ours will be super-late this year too. But personally I like receiving cards late (after Christmas or around New Years) because it makes the holiday season seem to last longer. Otherwise I tend to plummet into a deep depression on Jan 2nd...

I ordered from minted, they have 10% discount on holiday cards plus free overnight shipping! Mine are expected to be delivered this Tuesday! Plenty of time to mail out to our family!
