AW your holiday cards!

It's not the best card ever, but the sentiment is what was important to us. We sent everyone photos of themselves from the wedding, but we selfishly saved this one as a surprise for our holiday card.

May everyone this year have many opportunities to be surrounded by the love of their nearests and dearests.

I have done Christmas cards since the day I moved out at 23, I love getting them, so I of course send them. And I LOVE the picture ones... the plain ones I barely even look at.

Your cats names are Chara and Krejci? That's awesome! Krejci is one of my fave players.

arrippa Yes! They were born in 2009 so before the Bruins won the Stanley Cup and everyone knew who Krejci and Chara were. So at the time it was always fun to see who knew what their names were!

I know them. I just don't like them, lol. But I'm sure your kitties are lovely!

If we get another dog I want to name him Gordie. Greatest hockey player who ever lived.

Love the photo holiday cards! We didn't do any this year but next year I'm doing a family photo with our dog for everyone. I didn't realize how many holiday cards we'd get now that we're married and have a house so it didn't really cross my mind to send any this year. We've gotten a bunch already so next year I really want to join in.

On the back is states "No kitties were physically harmed in the making of this card. However, they may need years of therapy."

Here are our cards! Even though we are approaching our 1-year anniversary (WOOHOO!!!!) Consensus on the thread awhile back was since this was our first married Christmas it wasn't TOO AWish to use them. If I'm wrong please don't correct me because they are already in the mail.

My fav player on the team is actually Patrice Bergeron... but Bergeron is a more common last name and I was looking for soemthing a little more obscure!

I loved seeing everyone's holiday cards! We just got our pro pics back on Saturday, so yesterday we made a card on Shutterfly. I paid to have them expedited, so they are supposed to be here Friday. Most of our cards will go in-state, so I think they might actually make it before Christmas. We put a random picture on the back because it seemed like a waste to pay the same amount for a plain back as a picture back. Here it is:

Would it be awful if we sent out Happy New Year cards instead of Christmas ones? I paid a lot of money for these pictures, and dammit, I want to get as much use as possible from them!

My family did New Year cards last year. My niece wasn't born until December 27th and it seemed silly for my Mom to send out cards before the baby arrived. They were very excited for their first grandchild.

And I'm doing New Year cards this year because I'm slow and lazy. I got my e-pics back in November, but didn't get on ordering cards soon enough to get them delivered by Christmas.
