First off, there was an animated short shown before called "Feast". It is very cute- the pet lovers will really like it. But that stupid movie made me bawl my eyes out.
The movie itself is really good. I realize that this based on a comic book, but I've never read it so I can't say if it's faithful to that. It was less "superhero" than I thought it would be which was really refreshing. DS and I both loved it. There are some good "girl" moments in there. Two of the characters are part of an elite engineering school which was cool. Another moment, one of the girls says to another male character to "girl up" instead of "man up". Which I liked way more than stupid fucking Frozen and the princess bullshit.
