I am currently obsessing over trying this blood orange champagne punch recipe but I can't find any blood oranges or blood orange juice. BOOOOOOO my life.

It's a cream liqueur with rum and cinnamon. I've mainly seen it used it fall and winter cocktails - like I saw it used in a gingerbread martini and some cookies and milk cocktail thing. YUM!

Ermagerd. I love blood oranges and am very into this conversation.

I will admit, though, that I have no idea if I can actually taste the difference, or if I just think they look cool and therefore taste better.

@maeday2‌ - I'm about to steal DH's Sam's card and go.

@amelisha‌ - I honestly think blood oranges are a little sweeter. Less tart. I don't have the vocab to describe it bit that's kind of how I see the diff.

This is the one. I don't know about your local Sam's, but they claim to carry it still.

FOr some reason this reminded me that I can probably find it at Fresh Market or WholeFoods. Maybe it was the bottle shape.

Looks like I'm going to have a second cocktail option for saturday!

I live in BFE so we aren't that fancy pants. You'll probably have waaaaaaay better luck there.

Real story - I went to a local grocery store last Christmas for artichoke hearts. Could not find them anywhere. I asked one of the employees who was totally perplexed by the idea of artichoke hearts. He asked me what would one possibly do with such an odd food. They didn't carry them.

So yeah...Sam's is my best option. Jealous of your fancy stores in the middle of the damn WOODS.

Fresh Market is about 45 minutes from me, and they just put a Whole Foods in about an hour away. They don't air drop the stores out by me lol

I gotta drag ass out in the slush to acquire the fancy, I'm in BFE too.

Hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps is super easy and absolutely delicious if you want a hot drink or love chocolate! I made it at a holiday party last year and it was a huge hit.
