Petty and irrelevant? Yes, I would agree. I typed out something in my head and probably shouldn't have put it into print. Compared to throwing someone's unrelated family history in their face and wishing ill on future conception, I think it's pretty tame.

The troll comment was in reference to her actions and not her appearance. She happens to be on a bridge in her photo. Trolls live under bridges in fairy tales.

Yeah, honestly, I'm with @themosthappy91 and (I think it was) @levioosa here - I don't think the original trajectory in this thread was necessarily bad, but the sig pic attacks were low. I do think that Maggie's attitude in going about it was not necessary, as well, though - I understand pointing out that it was unnecessary to attack her sig because shit fire, I'm doing it, but we're all (mostly) adults here, and should be treated as such. It's a simple thing to say, "Hey, that was low" without being condescending about it.

I was proudly "down in the drama" over on the other thread - I tried not to get involved in it because I frankly don't care about her trying to rejoin TK, lies or no lies, because I like to think that TK is an accepting place as a general rule, and because I've made friends here. But if I'm not mistaken, I got drawn in after her extremely low attack on Lolo (I would check to confirm, but the thread is gone).

I really don't mind or care if you agree or disagree with me. It's very obvious that we don't like each other and probably never will again. But this is one of multiple threads in this forum alone where you have come in and immediately taken a tone like a school marm. There's a way to say "I'm uncomfortable with personally attacking someone's photos / appearance" without immediately belittling everyone else.

That's completely understandable, we all say write things on here without thinking sometimes.

For the record, what I REALLY don't understand is the existence of this thread in the first place. It seems mean and inappropriate to make a thread singling out one user and talking shit about her, whether that shit talking is about her appearance or whatever else. I'm genuinely surprised this isn't a TOS violation because to me it feels like bullying/harassment.

All of the regs here are snarky a huge percentage of the time, but all of a sudden someone's tone is too condescending for people participating in a thread that is delicately tap dancing around being a TOS violation of snark?

I apologized for violating any TOS by commenting on someone's pose in a sig picture. I stand by my apology. I can own up to a shitty comment I made. It crossed a line and in the future, I promise to only comment on how people conduct themselves and not the photographs they choose to represent themselves.
