And then I'm on vacation.  AND my IL's are taking my kids all weekend.  

I have almost all of my Christmas shopping done and the things that are left, DH and I have to do together (his parents and our second White Elephant gift). 

DH works Saturday.  I'll be alone all day to bake.  I'm making more cookies and cinnamon rolls from scratch.  :)  

Oh and I ordered my Christmas present to me yesterday.  I'm stalking it to see when it ships.

    Oh and my grandma had her surgery yesterday.  It was successful.  She should be going home today. 

    I haven't talked to my mom, but my sister did and said she sounded 'normal' again. LOL  Also, my mom's BFF came down to be with my mom yesterday (she lives about an hour away from my grandparents).

    Great to hear about your Grandma!

    Tonight and tomorrow we have to finish wrapping things for this weekend.  We're headed to both my grandmas' houses Saturday then down to my parents' house to spend the night.  We'll have xmas there with all of my family on Sunday.

    I'm taking my SS gift to UPS today.

    I'm hoping to get my SS gift out.  It may have to wait until tomorrow.  It depends on how productive I can be.

    Yay for good grandma outcomes!

    We've ordered all our Xmas presents, just need to have amazon deliver them. Had to get a new set of tires for DH's car so we're safe for our holiday road trip. Going to WI, such a prudent decision in the winter ;)

    And in kitties with problems edition, our boy kitty went in for surgery last week to get a growth removed. The vet called last night with the path results...mast cell tumor. It was only the one cutaneous mass, it sounded like it was a complete removal. But we're still going to need to check the site and the rest of the cat for any recurrence. Next 6 months will give us a better idea of what we're going to deal with. DD has been remarkably good at leaving the boy kitty alone, without us even reminding her much. He's her #1 buddy (I.e the more compliant of our two kitties). That's helped a lot with the site healing, we're proud of her for paying attention

    Morning. Today is my last day of work till the 29th. I'm off today and all of next week. Woo-hoo! Unfortunately, this is causing me lots of anxiety and stress (what doesn't these days). :/ The upside is that tomorrow DH is taking off and we are going to spend some time together- probably go see a movie, do sushi at our favorite restaurant.

    Christmas shopping is mostly done. I have a few little things to get and then I will be done. Now I just need to wrap everything. I have a few things in the mail so I probably won't do it until next week. I hate wrapping presents and I suck at it. I might try to get DH to do most of it since he's good (and fast) at wrapping.

    Yay for Grandma and childfree days! What did you get yourself?

    I finished my shopping and just need to wrap and bake.  I'll do some baking tomorrow but really hit it Monday.

    I bought an iPad mini.  I've been wanting one for awhile.  Also, we're taking some trips next year and it will come in handy in the car/on a plane. We have a ton of movies with a digital copy and there's iTunes. I got a one with a ton of memory so we can store a decent amount of movies and music on it.
