My Wedding Shoe Dilemma

Hey Lovies,

So... I ordered my wedding reception shoes from Payless back in April. I am wearing a different pair ON the beach during the ceremony... but still want a pretty pair for the reception.

Anyway... They came in but were not dyed well, so I sent them back to have a new pair done. 2nd pair was not done well either, but I gave them one last chance... and YUP! Not done well teh 3rd time either.

Can you ladies help me with suggestions for a strappy, 2-3in heel, that is close to this color (and under $50 or close)?

My BMs dresses are JADE from Alfred Angelo, so that was kinda the color I wanted to go with....

I am sooo bummed aboutthis. I thought I had the shoes down and they were a hard choice for me... I am not a shoe fanatic... but I am picky. :(

Thanks so much ladies, you are awesome!

dying a color is hard....personally I would have them wear silver shoes or black...they can wear them again after the wedding.

Oooops I guess I should reiterate... These are MY Shoes! :) My something blue, if you will... and no, I will not be wearing these on the beach. These are my reception shoes. :)

My girls are lucky, I told them they can wear silver heels at the reception and I made flip flops for them for the ceremony.

I guess I would be ok with Pink or Silver shoes too... so those ideas would be good too, but my poor brain is hurting and thinking of starting over makes me nauseas. :)

oh.....they are for YOU!  okay...well then....try a different company that will dye them for you.   but I'm not sure they can dye them over dye....can't hurt to try.

No... I don't have them. I refused them and I will be getting a full refund. So, I gotta get a new pair... I was so excited to have this part over... lol oh well...

I don't have any suggestions, I just wanted to let you know that I totally empathize with you!

I wanted the two low heeled slides that Payless offered and I ordered them dyed in Sapphire when they had a BOGO sale. When they came in, they looked way more purple than deep blue so I sent them back. I haven't been able to find anything close to the color shoes I wanted since then! I was soooo disappointed.

I think your best bet would be to buy a shoe thats already that color, it may be too difficult to buy get them dyed.

Also, you may want to try Bakers, I think they have dyeable shoes too.

There is a great place in Boca that we have been going to for YEARS. They do a really great job on dying shoes. It's in the Garden Shops on Palmetto & Powerline. Not sure where you live. Maybe just order shoes from endless.com and try that. Also, http://www.coloriffics.com/wedding-shoes.php

David's Bridal just got a whole bunch of new shoes added to their site. I think I saw a few that look like the one you posted.

Check online at zappos and other shoe stores and see what you can find. You might have luck or page Kaila and ask her where she got hers, hers are teal colored. GL
