If anyone is bored, seriously go online to fyi.tv and watch all the episodes of Married at First Sight. I watched the entire season yesterday for 10 hours. Experts pair up 3 arranged marriages where the couple literally don't meet until they are at the alter getting married. They've never seen a picture, or been told any info about this person and it's a real legal marriage, not a fake for tv one.
It's quite fascinating to see them get to know each other, and move in together, and open their hearts to a perfect stranger. The point is different from matchmaking shows because it shows that they will work harder to keep the commitment if they are married. There were some arguments where people would have walked away if they were just dating, but because they were married they were forced to work through it. I found it very genuine and more real life than the standard reality show because they really went to work and paid bills, and introduced them to family, and found ways to mesh their schedules to get to know one another. It wasn't like The Bachelor where they are just in this fake paradise together.
I won't spoil the whole thing but I will say that 2 out of the 3 couples do fall in love with each other and stay married and only one choses divorce!
