    I must be dating myself. Young'n.

    We used to hang out at Westown in Bay City when I was in college (along with Shooters in Saginaw). They played music videos on the giant movie screen on the back wall over the dance floor. It was super cheese-tastic. Buuuut... that was 10+ years ago. When people asked for your AIM screen name instead of your cell phone number!

    Traverse City is okay. It's VERY touristy during the summer, so I'd go during the fall.

    Definitely check out the Leelanau Peninsula (head north from TC just a bit). There are lots of wineries, areas to hike and camp, etc. You can also head to Sleeping Bear Dunes.
