@larrygaga, how about "rustic chic"?

  • Oh, you mean Hipster Wedding is the look of the moment?

    I asked someone once to please explain WTF Rustic Chic or Rustic Elegance meant and they told me it was anything from Anthropologie. . . I don't think I agree.

  • Over the holidays I was chatting with some of my FILs family friends about their daughter's upcoming wedding and the mother informed me that the wedding theme would be "country chic." It took everything in me not to roll my eyes and force a polite smile.

  • This came up when I googled "rustic chic wedding." It's definitely rustic. But it ain't chic.

    Try getting married in a "rustic" type place and avoiding every single offering of burlap, lace, cowboy boots and mason jars imaginable. Fuck me running. Head meet wall.

    Not every single wedding must have these traits, Pinterest!!

    Eta: pinterest anger.

  • Has anyone died a little inside when they went to search for a particular look and had to type in "rustic chic"  or something similar in order to find it?

  • WTF. It was the look of, like, Fall 2013. Not this moment. Late last year was Gatsby. This year is gravel and feathers!
    And antlers. I've been seeing many antlers. WTF.

    No I think it actually means that your wedding gets crashed by Outlaws who shoot the place up and rob you blind.

  • Someone needs to save that adorable horse from this wedding. He is never going to survive the embarrassment of posing with those people.
