Related sites: Jamberry, RocksBox, StyleMint, etc. But I'm mainly interested in the clothing ones, versus the make-up, jewelry, etc. ones.

So I'm interested in adding some more pieces to my wardrobe, but I feel like I just can't really find what I want in stores. One of my FB friends uses it and seems to like it, but I trust your opinions here more than this girl honestly.

SOOOO...anyone done it? What do you think of it? Is it worth it?

Mainly I'm worried that I'll sign up, pay the $20 delivery fee per box and either never like anything or feel like I HAVE to buy some of the pieces to "make it worth it".

  • Loved, loved, loved Stitchfix. Have put it on hold while pregnant, but the year before that I would keep at least 1 item (often two, though rarely more) each month.

Just be as descriptive as possible in the original profile and when doing the monthly feedback & you should have good luck.

Do you think you would have bought the items if you tried them on on your own, and didn't have the $20 credit/$20 "fee" if you sent it all back?

************************sorry, I was on mobile and didn't realize the boxes were f'd up******************
I do, actually. I opted out of jewelry & accessories and generally found I gravitated toward the tops (occasionally skirts). Some of the stuff seemed over priced, but for the most part it was reasonable. I suggest trying it for 2 months - it's really easy to cancel or put on hold if need be.

  • I have done one StitchFix box and it was a lot of fun. I tried to be as detailed as possible and I did like a couple of the items they sent me. I had a lot of issues with the correct size, so I think that was partially my fault, but I didn't like those items enough to figure out how to exchange for a different size. I did keep one item, a dress, and I love it. It's not something I would have picked out at a store on my own, but it looks great on me. I haven't done it again because the items were so expensive! The cheapest item in my box was scarf and it was like $30-40! I know you can adjust the price range of the items you receive, so I must not have put enough thought into that. I do plan to do it again, sometime. I have heard that the more you do and the more feedback you give, the better it gets for you. Worth a try for sure!!
  • I tried Stitch Fix and Le Tote, and preferred Le Tote. I have also tried and recommend Rocksbox, Tibi, and Birchbox for everything else.

I tried Stitch Fix for two months but did not like anything I received. At the end, I felt like I should have just gone shopping at JC Penney or something.
  • Are any of these services servicing us plus sized women? I looked into stitchfix and it only goes up to size 14 and that's approximately my thigh ;)
