AW: Went to look for dresses!

Today I went to go look at dresses with my mom because I was told to start looking now, especially because I take a very long time to decide on just about anything. Particularly a wedding dress. So, I decided to go look casually and get some idea but not jump on anything. The lady at the shop said I don't need to order til about 6 to 7 months ahead but said it's a good idea for me to start looking now and make decisions whenever I want.

Here are some I tried on. The first is the Maggie Sottero Etienne. I have been dying over this dress for a long time so I almost squeeled like a child when she brought it in the dressing room. Second is a Casablanca that has a stunning back but the picture of me from behind is embarrassing and unflattering so I won't be posting that. 3rd is Casablanca, 4th is Allure. Ignore my stupid facial expression. I was thinking how much I look like Princess Leia in the long sleeve and contemplating what my hair would look like in two donut buns.

I'm seriously considering the first two. I like the last for it's comfort and ease to get in/out of. I just wanted to show you all what I found!

You look rockin' hot in all of them. The last one is harder to tell because your posture hides whether it shows off your curves enough, but I love the closely fitted look on you!

You are so pretty! Seriously all those dresses.look awesome on you, but I have to join the chorus and say, "Go with 1." But I truly think any of them would be great. (I'm kind of in love with the long sleeved one)

I really love the first one, I'm really partial to Maggie Sottero, though. That lace pattern and the straps are to die for. Honestly I also love the long sleeved one just as much though. It's really elegant. Like, REALLY elegant. I think you should go with one of those two.

I love the first dress on you. I was indecisive when it came to dresses. I kept looking at pictures of me wearing different dresses and looking at options online. I went back to the store and friend in my too 2 with heels, fancy jewelry and a veil and seeing everything together I knew my #1 was the dress for me.

Okay I just want to say that sometimes you don't have the "very obvious this is the one" reaction. I wasn't sure about my dress but I'm so picky about what I wanted and it was everything that I wanted, looked bomb on me and was in my price range. I don't have any advice except keep looking if you want but not everyone immediately sobs when they have the right dress.

I expected to have that reaction and I was really unsure if it's the right dress for me because I didn't have that reaction. I asked if I could fill out my order, take my pictures home and come back and pay, and they said I could. SO I slept on it and realized that it was the one!!! Going back my posse said my face was lit up the whole time and they could tell it was the one but didn't want to say anything to push me.

It looks like you are into lace and sleeves, like me. Unfortunately it's not as popular of choices with bridal gowns so your options might be more limited. Mine sure were. But Michigan isn't very fashionable, we kinda stick with basic things that look good.

Not only do I think #1 is the prettiest, but I think you look the HAPPIEST in that one. You're doing this "rockin' it" pose, and it's obvious you absolutely love that dress.

Plus, as I said, it's freaking gorgeous. I love the straps, the way it fits you and shows off your figure, the style... absolutely everything.

I don't think you need to keep shopping, #1 is gorgeous on you! Were you able to try any black dresses? I feel like you said at one point you really wanted a black dress? That would be the only reason why I keep looking, if I didn't even get to try on the dream dress.

1and 2 are absolutely gorgeous things, and you're a gorgeous thing as well!

My vote:

Dress 1 is breathtaking. As in, actually caught my breath and said ooooooh. You need this dress. Abandon all thoughts of black dresses, immediately. I just honestly can't imagine that any other dress could be better. Did I say breathtaking? Yes, it really is. You look great in white. I'm not opposed to colors, if that's what someone wants, but I just can't imagine topping Dress 1.

(I always imagined you looking like Samantha Stevens from Bewitched, but you're much better!)
