  Not sure where you are with all the planning but if it were me I would probably go with where we got engaged - the Sky Deck at the Sear's Tower in Chicago, IL. Have you considered where your parents were engaged or got married? They may be honored you asked them first! If that doesn't work I would go with a beautiful setting such as a park district, greenhouse, beach, etc.

  
  

  Joliet has a beautiful greenhouse called Bird Haven Greenhouse Conservatory and I just un-booked them yesterday for the 1:30 time slot becuase we decided to go with my church instead.

  I know this is a very delayed response, but you can book a private dining room at the Signature Room at the John Hancock, and you can have a ceremony there too. Gorgeous.
