Great deal. . . . hope I didn't jinx myself

DH and I were shopping at Pottery Barn yesterday, which is always problematic because I want everything there! We wandered into the Pottery Barn Kids section because that location is closing their kids annex and had super, super sales. We found the most gorgeous 4 in 1 crib and dresser with detachable changing top. It should have been about $3000 all together and it was on sale for $600. We bought it!!!

The wrinkle, i'm not pregnant. We are going to start trying next month. I'm just a little nervous that we jinxed ourselves with this purchase, but how could we not get it at such a great price!!?

Hey at worst you sell or give it to someone who can use it. At best you saved a lot of money for a future baby!

Haha... I actually picked up a crib (and maternity clothes!) from a friend yesterday who wanted to get them out of her house. I couldn't pass up a free couple hundred dollars worth of stuff!

I personally don't believe in "jinxing."

FILs are storing all of FSIL's baby stuff for our someday children. I think they will be more disappointed than we will if we can't have kids or it takes longer than expected.

It totally exists (for me haha)! But I'm totally weird about that and recognize my weirdness lol. I say good for you for getting a bargain!

My philosophy when buying anything is- am I going to go home and think about this item non-stop and wish I had bought it? If it's a yes, then I buy it. If it's a no, I just kinda like it but I won't think about it later, then I don't buy it.

and with the 4 in 1 aspect, we potentially get until college out of this purchase. The dresser too, we can just detach the changing part.

I did draw the line at DH putting the crib and dresser in the guest room/office until we have a kid. . . . way to many questions to answer until it happens. It is in the basement!
