LOW Budget Wedding Reception in South Bay/LAX area

I'm helping a couple of my friends plan their upcoming May/June wedding but we're having a hard time finding the perfect venue. The thing is, they're working with a really low budget - they're looking to invite about 100 guests and have about 4K to play around with. Does anyone have any suggestions? They would like somewhere near the South Bay/LAX area but are open to someplace within close proximity, outdoor venuse included. Thanks, friends!

    Check out perfectweddingvenue.com. They were helping me for a while and had some great options. We ended up at a winery in SB, which they don't cover. I think it's worth looking into. And they charge the venue, not you.
