Ah yes, because males are so much more rational and reliable, as a sweeping generalization. If you have assholes for friends, they are just assholes. That's not gender specific.
I feel like if a person is going to claim they don't get along with females, in general, the problem is probably that person, not "females."

BTW, I fucking despise when people call women females.

    This is like 100% true

And when you call a woman a female you sound like a neckbeard and I did not read that article so I don't know if it states that

I cannot love this enough, seriously.

And I am always kind of suspicious of people who claim they cannot get along with people of their own gender at all. Like, really? Not even one? Are you sure YOU'RE not the problem here?

  • @prettygirllost I am with you- a group of 22 sounds like pure hell hahahah. I love being social and being at a party with that many friends- but only if I can then go home and be alone. I know that you technically have that in your own cabin but still, nope.

Neckbeard is pretty epic. This is going in my vocabulary from now on.

I have more male friends than female IRL because of the school FI went to.

I am on the knot because I need more girl time. Men aren't that much fun all the time. Many are just as dramatic but they also have smelly feet and BO and they don't want to talk about weddings and reality TV

Even though I went to an all girls HS, I would say I have about the same number of male and female friends. I have my guy friends from when I was in HS, they are my crew. We call each other the Wolfpack. We even have a group chat on what's app under that name. We're too cool. Yet, I also have female friends I'm extremely close with. My bridesmaids are my ride or die chicas.

It really doesn't matter in my opinion whether it's men or women. There are chill dudes and chill chicas, just like there are drama queens and drama kings.

Nah, we should just continue sterotyping and being sexist.

  • Just putting this here. It's by no means the last word on this, but as a tomboy myself who had to overcome some toxic notions of how "girls are lame, boys are cool" I found it interesting:

  • For a friend's bachelorette party, her friends planned a wine weekend in the Fingerlakes.

Unfortunately, the planner was HORRIBLE at relaying proper information.  She told us the hotel room would be $88/pp total.  Yeah, that was per night, per person.  She never had the right figures for any of the events.  Luckily this group also included my best friend and she was able to front me a little extra money because I had budgeted for what I thought it was going to cost.

When we planned the aforementioned friend's party, we checked, double and triple checked the costs and did it as an open invite to any or all of the evenings events, largely based on the lousy experience we had.

My b-party ended up being myself, my sister and two of my best friends.  Everybody else bailed.  But it was just a slumber party with drinks, food and games.

just knowing how my friends and family are i just dont have many female friends and others i dont get along with. im also more of a tomboy
I watch more football than most men. Hell, I'M WEARING PLAID TODAY. I look like a fucking lumberjack.

I have more "female" friends than guy friends. There's a difference between being a tomboy and being a bitch that "females" can't stand.

Mike, even though you are clearly* a fucking hipster, I love you.
