Happy Friday! What's everyone up to this weekend?

Tonight: My best friend is coming in the from the city. I'm picking her up from the train station and then much drinking and eating will commence.

Saturday: It's going to snow here, so no real plans. We may go to the movies.

Sunday: Brunch for H's sailing organization. They give out awards for the racing teams. Yay. Did I mention I don't like H's sailing buddies?

I am visiting my sister and all my brideslaves and both moms are coming to help me put together wedding invites. Don't worry, they didn't volunteer. They know their place.

Mexican food and margaritas will be had.

Also, picking out the tux and rings this weekend!!! I decided to get a wedding band. I have a friend who is a few years into starting his own business with jewelry and he is going to make me one! He's really good and his wife is decent as well!

What kind of sailing does he do? I sail those little tiny catamarans around. We flip a lot.

I need to finish designing the invitations and get those guys sent to the printer.

I also made an appointment with my jeweler to design my wedding band.

No fun at all.

Tonight we have my soon to be son and he starts his Hip Hop class... I am actually excited to see what they teach him.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating his birthday at a trampoline park, not so excited for a bunch of sweaty kids, screaming at the of top of their lungs, but he will be happy, that's what matters.

Sunday my fiancé and I get to have some alone time...bowchicabowwow...jk IDK maybe brunch and day drinking

I also have to buy snow pants and a good waterproof jacket because I'm going snowboarding tomorrow. Cheese game too strong and my old shit doesn't fit anymore.

Today is my birthday!! Yay!!!

I have fridays off and I usually do laundry, grocery shop, and clean the apartment. BUT - today I am watching the Bachelor, then going to get a pedi, then I have a message scheduled this afternoon. And last night Fi told me he is taking me to go see Motown the Musical!! Its going to be a lot of fun! And I'm super excited because Fi doesn't like musicals so. . . . its a big deal he researched, found, and decided to go with me to a musical neither of us have seen! I love him so hard for that.

Tomorrow I work until 1 then grocery shop, then chill at home all night. It will be fantastic.

Sunday is my last shift at the animal clinic I've been working at. Bitter-sweet. I've been there for over 6 years, but its just time to move on.

Saturday - Misc. crap that hopefully some what involves laying around. FI has been gone at a training all week. So it's been a few days since I've seen him.

Tonight H and I will lay around and watch movies. He hurt himself at work Wednesday and honestly it sounds like he cracked his rib or something. He can barely move.

Tomorrow is cleaning day. And our dryer is fixed now so it is so much easier to do laundry. We may have a few friends over for supper tomorrow night.

Sunday we will go to church and then Sunday lunch. i'm hoping my brothers come over!

We have a pretty relaxed weekend, which I'm actually really excited about.

Happy Birthday @LabLove86 ! I'm feeling much better today, so tomorrow, I'm going to Zumba in the morning, and then Mom and I are taking a trip to Costco and Joann's and then coming home and having a mini pinterest project party. We're pretty pumped about that. Sunday, FI and I may go to the movies or something, we aren't really sure yet.

Oh yeah I'm going to try to dye a dress this weekend. It was the BEST "summer wedding guest" dress in the BEST dusty aqua color EVER and it got red wine spilled all over it by some drunken wedding guests. I bleached it already and now I'm hoping a nice deep purple will cover the lingering stains... we shall see.

Celebrating my birthday this weekend! Yayyy! (It's actually on Monday but celebrating on Monday is way less fun)

Tonight I'm staying home and frantically cleaning the apartment. I posted about finding someone to take over my lease and now people want to come see it...and right now it's a disaster.

Tomorrow I'm going to sleep in, eat delicious crepes for breakfast, get my hair colored, and then run some WR errands. FI and I are grabbing dinner at my favorite fast food place (it's like the italian version of chipotle) and some cake and watching a movie. Should be fun!

Tonight we have a bank/finance dude coming to the house because DH needs to refinance the condo we couldn't sell 4 years ago. I get to be a witness. Woo!

Then this weekend I get to make a glamorous run to BJ's for multiple odds and ends and hopefully it's not in too much snow. After that, DH and I are going to set up my new home office while at least the 4 yo naps. Soon I'll be able to work from there and having desks laying against the wall help no one.

Somewhere in there is a bottle of Fireball with my name on it.

My weekend will be nice. Tonight H is going to his parents so I can have some quiet time to myself. Tomorrow we're running ALL the errands and then going to dinner with two other couples. We're getting Mexican and I'm going to drink giant margaritas.

Sunday will be quiet - we may go see American Sniper and I'll spend the day cleaning and working out some stress on my bathtub. Cleaning the bathroom is my ultimate stress reliever.

Dyeing isn't too hard, and how well it takes mostly depends on the fabric. If I can successfully dye my sofa, I'm sure you'll do great with a dress and a cover up.

Ughhhh that reminds me I have a bathing suit to dye too! SO MAD. I bought the cutest ruffled white bikini to take on our honeymoon, but when I packed it to leave cities the hot pink bikini must have still been a little wet or something, and the pink one stained the white one. HOW THE HELL ARE YOUR BATHING SUITS NOT MADE COLOR-SAFE, VICTORIA'S SECRET?! All my shit's gonna be purple now.

Yes! I got some mixed drink on it and when I washed it and bleached it, it came out dingy looking.

My bathing suit (that I got while on the honeymoon because I forgot my bathing suits, all of them) was navy and white and I washed it with darks (because it is mostly navy) and now the white part is pinkish...whoops.

Derf. I hate things like that. Although I wash EVERYTHING in cold water and it helps a little bit. but dammit I hate feeling like the laundry fail in the detergent commercials.

@lolo883 We got (what I consider) really reasonable life insurance rates. They almost doubled from the quote because when they did the medical exam they found me with high cholesterol and DH quit smoking less than 5 years ago (which I said in the quote but bitch marked it down wrong).

I'm not doing shit!!!!!!! We're getting a snow storm tomorrow so I'll be huddled up with electric blanket and Kitty for the day. Which is my normal Saturday even when it's not snowing.

Sunday I'm going to a bridal show in town with my BFF. This somehow has caused drama, one of my other friends who is engaged was texting me the other day and asked if I was doing anything fun. When I told her where I was going and with who she freaked because BFF isn't engaged and it should be her going...Ummm, ya you're over halfway done and planning your wedding an hour and a half from me. I doubt all the local vendors will be much help to you,

SO and I are trying to have a fun weekend out. We'll see how successful we are. Last week we realized that we are too introverted for Disneyland. All of those crowds are exhausting. I'm kind of glad we didn't buy season passes. We're going to California Adventure tomorrow to finish up our two-day pass. There's a big measles scare right now, so maybe it won't be as crowded as usual.
