My fiancé and I have decided to do a $1 scratch off per person at our wedding. We love gambling of any kind (most of my family does) and how fun would it be if someone actually won some money?! This being said I was just curious what people thought of this favor if you're not crazy about gambling? Is this a universally fun thing or will people think it's innapropriate? Keep in mind that we're having a very casual wedding (barn, fried chicken, margaritas, etc.). Thanks!
Re: Scratch off favor
One idea though is maybe packaging them in little glassine envelopes along with a penny? I don't bring money with me to weddings and never have change (it always goes in a jar at home if I accumulate any during the day). Even though it's casual, it seems a little too casual to be scratching off my lotto ticket with my car keys or my fingernail.
I think this is a great idea!
I attended a wedding where the scratch off tickets were part of our seating card. It was a small vase, w a single flower in it, w a ribbon tied around and the scratch off ticket attached, w my name and table # on the other side. I thought it was a really cute idea.
I would love your favor otherwise and I think it's a lot of fun!
