My DIY Valentine's Gift

So Valentine's Day isn't really that big of a deal for us, but I saw this idea for a jar of 100 Reasons Why I Love You floating around the Internet and decided to do it simply because I thought it was so cute. I'm totally not a DIY-er, but this was super simple and came out pretty decently! (I think I may do a different ribbon, but no big complaints.)

Also: This would make a really cute wedding gift ("75 reasons I want to marry you" etc.), birthday gift, mother's day gift, whatever. Plus it's super inexpensive.

Since I got a smallish jar, and accidentally sliced up one of my "reasons", this is my jar of 73 reasons why I love you...

I love this idea. I did it last year for Valentine's Day but he got it a couple days early because he was having a really bad day and he needed it. I love the owls.

That's so adorable! It looks great.

DH did this for me on our 7 month dating anniversary in high school. I don't remember how many were in there but it meant a lot to me. I'm sure he is going to love it.

I did something like this for our first valentine's day together... I made 14 origami lilies with a note inside each one telling him something I liked about him. Then he got to open one every day for 2 weeks.
